The Avalon Bus provides the data transmission between the peripheral ports and the bus modules. Multifunction Vehicle Bus （MVB） network is based on the SOPC system of Altera corp ,and the receiver communicates with nios ii soft_core of cpu and memory through the avalon bus. The paper focuses on the realization of the receiver based on the Avalon bus by the HDL.
