“陵川七状元”考证

An Examination into "Seven No.One Scholars in Lingchuan"

对于"陵川七状元"的说法,通过引用大量史料进行考证辨析,笔者认为武明甫、武天佑、赵安时、赵安荣有可能确实是状元;而李俊民是经义第一,武天和也有可能只是经义第一,但当时政府已明确规定经义第一不能算状元了,民间不了解这种政策变化,仍误称他们为状元;至于说宋代的崔有孚是状元则无法找到史实依据,也许他只是在地方选拔试中考过第一,被民间误称或戏称为"状元",后来就以讹传讹了。

Based on the research of ＂Seven No. one Scholars in Lingchuan＂ from many historical files, the author points out that WU Mingfu, WU Tianyou, ZHAO Anshi and ZHAO Anrong were probably true No. one Scholars, while LI Junmin was No. one in Jingyi Test （A test about Confucianism） and WU Tianhe was probably No. one in Jingyi Test. However, the government of that time definitely made it certain that No. one in Jingyi Test was not a true No. one scholar. People did not know this, so they wrongly called them No. one Scholars. As to CUI Youfu in the Song whether he was a true No. one scholar can not be verified by historical files. He was probably No. one at local test. He was called No. one scholar wrongly or purposely in the beginning, and later it was accepted by people.
