The structure of detergent forms is changing in China, the world＇s petrochemicals supply increasing tension, and China＇s ＂11 the Five-Year Plan＂ advocates sustainable development, all of these, bringing great opportunities for China＇s liquid detergent industry. At the same time, the detergent industry in China is facing with great challenges to conform with the development trends in the world. This pa- per introduced the technical issues of liquid laundry detergents from view of the applications of new raw materials, new special builders, enzymes in formulation, and the development of muhifunctional-concentrated formulations.
