香港当局委托一家咨询公司调查了80年代香港医院服务现状,建议成立一个独立的管理机构(即医院管理局)以改善服务。 尽管分权管理政策已由医院管理局落实,但医院行政总监仍需要向医院管理局行政总监直接汇报。 医院管理局在公立医院开始行使职权后,通过全体员工的不懈努力,为市民提供以为病人服务为中心的优质服务,取得了重大成效。
The Hong Kong Government commissioned a consultant to review the hospital services in Hong Kong in 1980's and recommended the establishing of an independent Authority to improve the services.Although the decentralization policy has been implemented in HA, the Hospital Chief Executives still have to report to Hospital Authority Chief Executive directly.After HA started managing public hospitals and significant improvements has been made.Hospital Authority is committed to provide 'Quality Patient -Centre Care through Team Work
