Comparison of aggregation and dimension of public space in new and old campus of Chongqing University

针对重庆大学新老校区的建设情况,基于它们各自内部公共空间,通过调查与对比发现新老校区在公共空间聚合与尺度方面存在的差异及原因,并剖析其中的主要问题,然后对公共空间的建设提出建议,旨在营造和谐、有序、充满活力的校园公共空间。

According to construction situations of new and old campus of Chongqing University and characteristics of internal public space of them the differences existed in aggregation and dimension of public space between new and old campus are analyzed through investigation and comparison. Based upon analysis of the reasons caused those differences suggestions are proposed for public space design in order to create harmonious, ordered and active public space.
