According to construction situations of underground sulastation at present in ottr country the arrangement form of underground substation is introduced. From site selection, transportation, ventilation, fire protection, engineering cost and other aspects the construction char- acteristics of underground substation are analyzed in detail, at the same time construction principle and development trend of underground substation are discussed, in ordcr to resolve difficulties encountered in dectric powcr construction.
