The Question from Women:Where is My Home——Reading the Novel "Running Flames" of Fangfang from the Perspective of Female Literature

从女性文学视角来看,方方在她的小说中并没有表现出极力主张、推崇任何一种女性主义理论的倾向,而更为关注的是作为个体的人的命运。《奔跑的火光》就是这样一部小说,它讲述的是一个农村女性爱情婚姻的悲剧故事。但小说无意间为我们揭示了中国新时期农村女性的生存处境和悲剧命运,使我们真实生动地看到了父权制在农村坚不可摧的统治地位,同时,在这篇小说中,我们还可以看到作家方方对女性解放道路问题的思考。

From the perspective of female literature, it is found that there is no tendency of advocating any feminist theory in the novels of Fangfang, but there is much concern on the fate of individuals. “Run-ning Flames” is such a novel, which mainly tells us a tragic love story of one rural woman. However, the novel unconsciously reveals the survival conditions and tragic fates of rural women in the new period of China, which let us really see the unbreakable patriarchal ruling status in the rural area. Meanwhile, the novel also shows the reflection of author on the problem of female liberation in China.
