The characteristics of Millimeter - Wave (MMW) Phased - Array Radar (PAR) are described, the principle of electronically scanned array(ESA) and primary electronically scanned techniques for MMW array are presented, as well as phase - controlled scan and phase shifter techniques. Main application fields of MMW PAR are illuminated and its progress is anticipated on the basis of radar and Semiconductor techniques.
