In the course of being Nei-dan, Taoist created plenty of poems about Nei-dan. These poems have long been regarded as valueless and research result is scarce. The author discusses the aesthetic ideas of the poems by the Taoists and discovers that, from the perspective of Chinese traditional aesthetics, they not only bear high research value and significance in life, but also can be regarded as the best religious and art practice in traditional aesthetic cultivation.
