New Cultural History and China Studies

新文化史在过去20多年的西方历史研究中已经成为显学,它大大改变了人们对以往历史的看法。其影响所致,渐有一切历史都是文化史之势。本文对此提出了一些反思,并对新文化史在中国研究方面的应用情况作了相应的述评。

The New Cultural History has been prevailing in the past twenty years, which has greatly changed the views of the past. The power of the New Cultural History has imposed a strong, immediate impression that all histories are cultural histories. This paper makes some reflections on this trend and gives a brief introduction to the New Cultural History adapted in the research work in China.
