摘要
在中国公众科学素养调查中,学生及待升学群体的科学素养最高,但是从中学开始,中美两国公众的科学素养差距开始加剧,尤其是在大学阶段,这种差距更大。而且从高中或中专开始,随着教育程度的升高,其科学素养的增长幅度却是在明显下降。文章通过中美两国公众的科学素养调查结果的比较,从正规教育和非正规教育两方面分析了这一现象形成的部分原因。基于上述分析,文章提出:在科学全球化与境中,中国的科学教育尤其需要一种博采众长,兼收并蓄,立足于中华民族文化传统的丰富思想文化资源,并融合世界一切优秀的文明成果,有机合成,综合创新,在继承中超越的创新文化来开启国人探索自然、热爱科学的心智。
In the survey of China civic scientific literacy, the scientific literacy of student group is the highest. But the gap of public scientific literacy between China and the USA begins widening from high school, mainly in the university stage, and moreover, from high school or technical secondary school, with the level of education increased, the growth rate of scientific literacy is obvious in decline. This article has found some main reasons of this significant problem from formal education and non-formal education after comparing the survey result of Chinese public scientific literacy with that of American public scientific literacy. By means of analysis above, the article comes to the conclusion that in the context of science globalization,Chinese science education is badly in need of a new innovative culture that is on the basis of the cultural traditions, integrating worldwide achievements of civilization including all outstanding scientific culture so as to open our mind to explore the nature and love the science.
