汉英翻译中“请求”言语行为的礼貌对等

Politeness equivalence of request in Chinese-English translation

在不同语言文化之间进行交流,"请求"是容易引起误会威胁面子的言语行为,在汉英翻译中,译者应对如何达到请求的礼貌对等进行多角度的思考。本文从语用和功能角度进行论述,并用实例与问卷结果分析做辅证,最后得出结论:汉英翻译中请求的礼貌对等可以通过句法转换来实现。

Request is a speech act that incurs misunderstanding and face -threatening in inter- language and intercultural communication. A translator has to give a thought to politeness equivalence of request in Chinese - English translation. This thesis reviews the research in this regard in the perspectives of pragmatics and functions. A questionnaire is conducted and the responses are analyzed. It concludes that politeness equivalence of request in Chinese - English translation is able to be achieved through syntactic transfer.
