S. Korean writer Liu Meili＇s creation was influenced deeply by her experience of being detained in Japan.The painful life is the source of her creation. Through works, such as Cradle near the River, Family Movie and To rive, She recalled the separation of the family ,reconsidered the meaning of the family and the reorganization of the family.Her works gave an in-depth description of mentality and life of S. Korean people detained in Japan. She tried to seek the meaning and the worth of herself through creation. Her works, with the essence of Japanese culture, became a component part of Japanese literature.
