First this paper introduces the configuration of NS12864-12 LCD module based on ST7920 controller, and the operation of the controller. Secondly, with AVR MCU ATMEL Mega16L as CPU, it finishes the interface design of the hardware and software of an LCD module drive electrocircuits and con.ducts experiments. The results show that the LCD drive module can steadily display Chinese words, numbers, etc.
