云南地区男性避孕针可接受性研究

The acceptability study of the male injectable testosterone undecanoate in Yunnan

目的探讨十一酸睾酮酯男性避孕针在云南地区的可接受性。方法对注射男性避孕针对象及妻子、管理服务人员等进行问卷调查、访谈调查和心理测试。结果多数使用者是因为女方身体不好、不适合放环而采用男性避孕针;打针后约29%的人自觉身体无变化,26.2%的人感觉较好,部分人反应打针时性欲增强,停针时性欲减弱;使用者认为打针比安全套方便,比男性结扎容易接受,还有人认为注射部位疼痛和使用不方便(需每月打针1次有点麻烦),部分人对长期使用药物的安全和使用价格比较关心。心理测试注射者和未注射者的抑郁和焦虑状况无明显差异(P>0.05)。结论十一酸睾酮酯避孕针作为一种男性避孕方法,可供育龄夫妇知情选择,有利促进男性参与计划生育。对该方法的长期使用安全性、满意程度和服务提供的有关问题还需作进一步研究。

Objective To investigate the acceptability of the man injectable testosterone undecanoate （TU） in Yunnan Province .Methods Self-made questionnaire, interviews and Self-rating Depression Scale and Self-rating Anxiety Scale were used for evaluation to all men participating in the study, and focus group discussion and in-deep interviews were conducted among their wives and service providers. Results The main reason for subjects participating the study was that their wives were not fit to use intrauterine device. 29% subjects reported there was no adverse effect during the study, and 26.2% subjects felt this method was an acceptable contraception. Self-reported change in sexual desire varied among subjects, but the predominant response indicated an increase during the injection, while decreasing after cessation of TU injections. Some subjects believed TU injections were more convenient than using condom, and were easier to accept than male sterilization, while some reported tenderness or discomfort in the injection sites ,and TU was inconvenient to use （it was required to inject monthly）,and some worried the effects on their health and the cost of long-term using this contraceptives. Psychological depression and anxiety were not significantly different between the groups of injecting and the not injecting（P 〉 0.05）. Conclusion TU is a male contraceptive, which can provide child-bearing age couple to choose and is possible for man to participate in the family planning. Further research is needed to assess the long-term safety of this method, including satisfaction and issues related to service delivery.
