On the Building of a Contingent of Political Assistants in Colleges and Universities

高校辅导员队伍的定位与建设是高校开展好学生工作的基础。高校辅导员工作中存在一些问题,因此他们要承担好以下角色,即要做学生思想政治工作的教育者、身心发展的疏导者、学业前途的指导者、生活选择的参谋者和日常生活的管理者,实现从传统教育理念向现代教育理念进行五个转换。采取有力措施完善高校辅导员队伍建设。

The role orientation and construction of a contingent of political assistants in institutions of higher learning is the foundation for handling student affairs. The article analyzes some existing problems in this regard and holds that political assistants should fill five roles,such as a political instructor, a director for college students＇ all-round development, a career guide,a counsellor and an administrator for students＇ daily life. We should transfer our traditional educational conceptions into modern educational ideas ,and adopt effective measures to strengthen the building of a contingent of political assistants in colleges and universities.
