《清明》一诗英译文的人际功能探讨再商榷

Reconsideratio of the exploration of interpersonal function in the English translation of Du Mu's poem Qingming

中山大学黄国文教授先后用系统功能语法的三大纯理功能分析了唐诗《清明》及其英译文,向我们展示了系统功能语法在分析诗歌翻译中的作用。在黄教授论文《〈清明〉一诗英译文的人际功能探讨》的基础上,对该诗及其英译文的人际功能进行进一步的研究,希望能为古诗英译的人际功能分析提出更容易操作的分析框架。

Professor Huang of Zhongshan university has successively applied Halliday＇s three meta-functions to DU Mu＇s poem Qingming and its English versions. His valuable attempts demonstrate the significance of systemic functional grammar for analyzing poetic translation. This essay, based on Huang＇s analysis, further studies the interpersonal relations involved in Qingming as well as its English versions. In so doing, this essay tries to build a more applicable framework for analyzing the interpersonal functions of Chinese classical poems and their English versions.
