摘要
本文以唐代西州这一特定地理空间的官吏为中心,以其工作时间为线索,来勾勒他们工作与休假、出勤与点检、值班及发放月料等日常活动的轮廓。通过梳理可以看到,官员和吏员身份地位的不同已渗入到日常生活中,反映在工作时间和强度上二者有很大的不同,说明身份与等级不仅是象征性的符号,更决定了人们的生活状态。
Focusing on the government officials and clerical staff working in a specific administrative area,Xizhou(modern Turfan),in the Tang Dynasty and following their work schedules,this essay tries to draw the outline of their daily life,including working time and vacation,attendance and inspection,work shift and monthly delivery of salary,etc.Analysis reveals that the position and status distinction between guan(officials)and li(clerical staff)infiltrated into their daily life,as shown in the great differentiation in their work time and workload.So this distinction in position and status not only was symbolic,but also determined their living condition.
