文学史研究与中华民族的精神谱系

The Literary History Study and the Chinese National Spiritual System

文学史研究实际上是对一个民族如何感知和想像世界的研究,对一个民族的感情、志趣和自由想像的精神历程的研究。中国文学史写作的理论和实践,经历了中华民族精神演变的过程。从当年讨论"文学定义"到今天讨论"文学边界",我们对文学史写作和民族精神重铸关系的关注重点已发生了实质性的变化,应该把它归还到原本的文化语境之中,以文学文本为中心,发掘它与文化人类学、人文地理学、民族学以及文献学等之间的联系。一百年来以《中国文学史》命名的著作,基本上都是汉语文学史,而实际上汉族与少数民族之间经过数千年的碰撞融合,早已共同构成了一个多元一体的文化总体,衍化出中华民族伟大的文化精神和文化哲学。今后少数民族文学的"边缘的活力",应该进入中国主流文学史的写作之中。

Literary history study is in fact a research on how a nation perceives and imagines the world, a research on the spiritual process of a nation＇ s emotions, aspirations and interests, as well as free imaginations. The theoretical and practical writings of Chinese literary history has experienced the development of Chinese national spirit. Our attention on the relationship between literary history writing and the re - shaping of the national spirit has essentially been shifted from the discussion of ＂literary definition＂ in the past to ＂literary boundary＂ at present. We should center on literary texts, bring them back to the original cultural contexts, and explore their connections with cultural anthropology, humane geography, ethnology and bibliography. The large part of the works entitled ＂Literary History of China＂ belongs to the Chinese literary history. As a matter of fact, through thousands of years of clashes and ferment, the Han and the minority nationalities have already made their joint efforts to construct a pluralized cultural unity and gradually evolved the great cultural spirit and philosophy of the Chinese nation. In the future, the ＂marginalized vigour＂ of the minority literature should gain its access to the writings of the Chinese mainstream literary history.
