中国居民生活水平的估计与调整

On the Estimation and Adjustment of Household Living Standard in China

随着改革开放的深入,中国居民的生活水平受到了广泛关注。运用恩格尔定律进行理论和实证分析,发现恩格尔系数不能真实反映中国居民的生活水平。为了更好地评价中国居民的生活水平,尝试采用多个指标,以2005年中国各地区城镇居民现有数据为例,运用因子分析法,归纳出有经济意义的代表性因子对中国各地区城镇居民生活水平进行了相应的实证分析。实证分析表明,与恩格尔系数相比,在因子分析法基础上对居民生活水平的评价能更好地衡量居民的生活水平。

With the deepen of China＇s reform and opening to the outside world, great attention has been paid to the household living standard in China. Based on the theoretical and empirical analysis on Engel＇s coefficient and Engel＇s law, the paper points out that Engel＇s coefficient cannot well explain the living standard of Chinese households. In order to better evaluate the household living standard in China, the authors try to use several index and factor analysis to find out reprefactors with economic values, and an empirical analysis is made on Chinese urban households in different regions in China by using relative data in 2005. The empirical analysis show that compared with Engel＇s coefficient, the evaluation based on factor analysis can better explain the household living standard in China.
