The manufacturers of textile machines prepare themselves for the future markets by diversification without leaving their highly engineered basis. Many manufacturers of textile machines offer an additional product line with reduced functions at lower investment costs. A lot of innovations, however, in the area of process optimization with the integration of microelectronics and individual drives were shown. In the field of combing, priority is given to higher production. Worsted air-jet spinning developed in Japan means a technological novelty.
