The features of deacetate, dealcohol, deoxime and deamide silicone sealants which were common used in construction are summarized. The sealant is used in glass and stone curtain wall, doors and windows, insulating glass, roads, airport runway and apron. The production and market of silicone sealant in construction and the future development opportunities are discussed too.
