摘要 本体作为一种能够有效表达概念层次结构和语义的模型,被广泛地应用到计算机科学的众多领域。UML作为一种通用的建模语言,已成为面向对象建模领域公认的工业标准。在介绍本体和统一建模语言基本概念的基础上,比较分析了面向对象建模与本体建模的异同,提出用本体技术来弥补UML规范中存在的缺陷,使得UML能够更加规范地表达建模信息。 Ontology has been applied as a kind of model in computer science, which can express the hiberarchy of concepts and semantics in effect. UML has been the industry standard formalism in the field of object-oriented modeling. UML and ontology are introduced in general. There are similarities and differences between object-orien-ted modeling and ontology modeling, and it is analyzed how to apply ontology to UML modeling and solve disadvan-tages of UML so that UML can denote the model information adequately.
