Process of Urban Renewal and Architectural Renovation Design in China

改革开放以来,随着社会经济的发展,我国的城市建设与建筑更新进入了加速发展的阶段。建筑改造是城市更新的主要内容之一,有关建筑的改造设计,在当今中国面临着严峻的挑战。该文从国内外城市更新进程及其相关理论入手,通过对我国建筑改造的类型与实践的总结,指出了我国现阶段城市更新中的建筑新建与改造设计并举的方法是一种行之有效的途径。

Ever since the reform and opening-up, city construction and buildings renewal in China have entered a new accelerated development stage along with the development of economy. And the buildings renovation has been one of the main contents of city renewal. As a result, buildings renovation designs are facing serious challenges. Beginning with the process of city renewal and relative theories at home and abroad, this article points out the coexistence of the constructions and renovation is one of the effective approaches in the present city renewal process by summarizing the types and practice of buildings renovation in China.
