2007年11月29日早晨8点20分,著名作曲家石夫在北京逝世,享年78岁。4部歌剧、10部舞剧、15部交响乐,整理过近3000首新疆民歌,创作出《娃哈哈》、《牧马之歌》等脍炙人口的歌曲,这样的成就也是石夫一生致力于音乐创作的写照。虽然他离开我们已经数十日了,但他生前的同学、朋友、学生们撰文所记录的点点滴滴,字里行间蓄满了对这位人民音乐家的不舍与哀思……

Shi Fu,a renowned composer of the Chinese people, died in Beijing at 8 a.m.on November 29,2007.He was 78. During his lifetime he wrote 10 ballets,4 operas,15 symphonies, and arranged nearly 3,000 Xinjiang folk songs.Among his output are such popular songs as"Wahaha"and"Song of the herders."Below are memories and thoughts shared by his colleagues,friends, and students in their blogs.
