激光遥感技术的应用是日前古建筑和历史街区保护的新契机。本文首先介绍了激光遥感技术的原理和应用现状;然后重点阐述了基于激光遥感技术的古建筑保护,包括:古建筑量测、古建筑三维重建和基于三维重建古建筑保护应用;并阐述了基于激光数据的历史街区三维重建及基于重建的历史街区保护应用;最后分析了激光遥感技术在古建筑与历史街区保护中的应用前景和亟待解决的问题。

Nowadays, the application of laser remote sensing is a great chance for protecting ancient architectures and historic districts. This paper introduces the principles and applications of laser remote sensing technology; then it focuses on the laser-based of ancient architectures： measurement, 3D reconstruction and the application of protecting ancient architectures based on 3D reconstruction; And it expounds on the laser-based 3D reconstruction of historic districts and the application of protecting and redeveloping historical districts; Finally, it analyses the prospects and problems that need urgent solution of the protection of ancient architectures and historic districts based on the laser remote sensing technology.
