内皮素是新发现的一类主要由内皮细胞合成分泌的生物活性肽,具有强烈的收缩血管和升高血压的作用。目前,对内皮素的研究主要集中在内皮素受体拮抗剂,其具有降低血压,减少蛋白尿和改善肾功能等作用,进一步阐明内皮素及其拮抗剂在肾疾病中的作用机制,以利于新的治疗途径的探索。

Further elucidation about action of mecha-nism of endothelin and its antagonist in renal dise, ases will be helpful to explore new therapeutic pathway.
