Improving Casting Method of Side Cover Based on Hot Spot Displacement

摘要 为简化高牌号灰铸铁侧盖铸件的铸造工艺,不用砂芯,将分型面下移,结果引起了缩松缺陷,废品率高达50%左右。对引起缩松的原因进行了分析,并采取了相应的工艺措施,上下底面同时加冷铁,消除了缩松缺陷。 In order to simplify the casting method used for a hi-strength gray iron side cover casting and cancel the sand core, the parting line together with ingates were moved downwards. As a result, shrinkage defects were caused, and the rejection rate was of about 50%. The reason causing shrinkage defect was analyzed, and the following measure was adopted: setting chills on both the top and bottom surfaces of the casting. The shrinkage was finally eliminated and the qualification rate of castings was increased up to more than 90%.
