现代英汉名词动用研究述评

On Two Levels in the Study of Denominal Verbs

名词动用有在词汇层面上的研究和在动核层面上的研究。两个层面的研究构成名词动用研究两个主要阶段。不同层面有不同的研究重心和研究特点。词汇层面研究以形式分析和现象描述为重,动核层面研究以语义语用和认知解释为重,突出语言的体验性和语境相关。通过对这两个层面上研究内容、特点、问题等的梳理,文章认为今后要继续重视名词动用的语料描写、深化分析与解释、加强与其他认知相关学科的交流与借鉴。

The study of denominal verbs are on two levels： the lexical level and the nucleus level. The two levels are equal to the two stages in the study of denominal verbs. Each level possesses its oval focus and features. On the lexical level, it is formal analysis as well as phenomena description that is focused, while on the nucleus level, it is semantic and pragmatic processes, together with cognitive explanation that is focused. Embodiment and context are thus emphasized. This paper has discussed these two levels about their contents, features, contributions and problems, and has concluded that we should attach importance to descriptive adequacy, deepen our analysis and explanation when contrasting materials from different languages. Furthermore, consciously working with evidence from other cognition-related subjects would be. beneficial to understand denominal verbs.
