Clinical study of multiloop edgwise archwire applied in skeletal malocclusion treatment.

摘要 目的:通过多曲方丝弓(MEAW)技术矫治各类骨性错,观察临床矫治效果。方法:前牙开病例2例,骨性Ⅲ类错12例,骨性Ⅱ类错7例,均采用MEAW技术进行前牙覆、覆盖的矫治以及磨牙关系的调整。结果:2例前牙开病例前牙覆平均增加6mm;7例骨性Ⅱ类错病例覆覆盖平均减小3.62mm和4.5mm;12例骨性Ⅲ类错病例覆盖平均改变4.14mm。结论:MEAW技术在骨性错病例的非手术方法矫治上有明显的临床疗效。 Objective: To observe clinical effect in malocclusion treated with muhiloop edgewise archwire( MEAW ). Method:Two openbite, 12 skeletal class Ⅲ and 7 skeletal class Ⅱ cases were treated wih MEAW technique, and the change of jaws, overbite and overjet were observed. Result:The overbite increased average 6 mm in 2 openbite cases; for 7 skeletal Class Ⅱ cases, the overbite and overjet decreased average 3.62 mm and 4.5 mm respectively; In 12 skeletal class Ⅲ cases, the overjet changed 4.14 mm in average. Conclusion: Mild and moderate skeletal malocclusion can be treated successfully by MEAW technique.
