On the International Cooperation in the Main Western Theories of International Political Economics

西方国家国际政治经济学主流理论中的新现实主义、新自由主义和新马克思主义都从各自的理论假设出发,提出了各自不同的国际合作观:霸权合作、制度合作和阶级合作。西方学者的国际合作观无论是在理论假设还是在现实解释力上都有其不足之处,并总是体现了以西方国家为中心的局限性。中国学者需要在借鉴西方国际合作观的基础上,结合中国自己的传统文化和现实政治需要,建立中国自己的国际合作理论。

The main western theories of international political economics, like neo-realism, neo-liberalism and neo- Marxism, put forward their own views of international cooperation, such as hegemony cooperation, institutional cooperation and class cooperation. The views of the western scholars have shortcomings in theoretical assumptions and interpretation of reality, and also have the limitations of putting the western countries as the center. Therefore, on the basis of Chinese traditional culture and political reality needs, Chinese scholars should learn from the western scholars, and establish our own international cooperation theory.
