摘要
新儒家是接着历史上的儒家往下讲,而不是照着讲。历史上儒家与道家有诸多相通相近的地方,并取长补短、共同发展。顺此而下,现代新儒家的代表人物熊十力、牟宗三、冯友兰、方东美、唐君毅、马一浮等人都在不同侧面和不同程度上对道家思想有所研究与吸收。现代新道家同样是接着历史上的道家讲,是对道家思想形式与内容的某种创新。现代新儒家与现代新道家的关系也与历史上的儒道关系类似,在相互促进中共同发展。现代新道家的建构刚刚开始,在时间上晚于现代新儒家,需要积极研究新儒家的成果,并从自己的立场上开展哲理的运思与体系的建构。
New Confucianism took up the theory where historical Confucianism had left off. In the history, Confucianism and Daoism are native Chinese thoughts. They have many identical and similar elements, enjoy long-term coexistence, draw upon and benefit from each other in the process of competition and comparison and achieve common development while seeking common ground and shelving differences. Continually, the exponents of modern New Confucianism, such as Xiong Shill, Mou Zongsan, Fen Youlan, Fang Dongmei, Tang Junyu, Ma Yifu, etc, studied in some fields of Daoism and absorbed in certain degree. In an identical manner, modern New Daoism which is being founded will go on with the theory where historical Daoism left off, and its form and content will be new, not different to historical Daoism. Therefore, the relations between New Daoism and New Confucianism in modern are similar to that in ancient. The differences lie in that, since modern New Daoism had merely begun, it must avoid manifesting a sectarian bias by the greatest extent, humbly study and research modern New Confucianism, on the basis of digesting and absorbing, to catch up with modem New Confucianism, then, take the stand of Daoism, think the philosophical opinions and found the theory.
