考古出土文物所见燕国地名考

Place name Analysis of Yan State as Indicated by Unearthed Relics of Zhan Guo(Warring States Period)

传世文献中有关燕国地名的记载很少,难窥其全貌;但是考古出土的战国时期燕国文物中涉及地名的资料不少,因而为研究燕国地名提供了重要史料。本文主要利用考古文物资料,结合文献,考证战国时期燕国的相关地名,以补史书之缺佚。

Traditional literature says little about place names in the Yan State, making a panoramic view of it quite an impossibility. Fortunately, many unearthed relics of Yan State during the Zhan Guo （Warring States period） contain records of place names of Yan State. These relics are precious data for research on the place names of Yah State due to the unavailability of conventional records. This paper offers, by making use of archeological findings and other archives, a testimony of place names in Yan State, in the hope of making up for the vacuum of research in this regard.
