In the late half of 20th century, Vacuum Equipment Developing Center （VEDC） of the institute had made significant contributions to China＇s key projects of nuclear power, aerospace and advanced materials through critical vacuum equipment supplies and construction services. With over five decades at the forefront of metallurgy equipment fabrication, VEDC offers a comprehensive capability to upstream producers to implement their plans reliably at lowest cost. We undertake design, supply, installation, integration and commissioning of plant and customized vacuum systems for refractory metals metallurgy, surface modification, thin film growth and advanced materials production.
