According to the characteristics of thunder and lightning and the harms that may be done by thunder ＆ lighming to railway signals equipment, this paper analyses and illustrates the types of lighming proof of railway signals equipment, and puts forward special anti-thunder protection actions in terms of the ways that the railway signals equipments may be damaged by thunder and lightning.
