As an important part of software GPS receiver, the performance of acquisition system directly affects the performance of software GPS receiver .By means of a special test platform, the acquisition performance of an independent development software GPS receiver is tested and analyzed. Also the relationship of acquisition performance versus career-to-noise ratio and false alarm probability is given. At last, the test data and improvement methods is given for the further research on software GPS receiver.
