Western Autonomy and Chinese Self Supporting: Conception Comparison

西方的自主与中国的自立有不少类似之处,同时它们又是基于不同文化传统的不同人格构念。通过对广泛收集到的西方学者对自主以及我国学者对自立的种种界定和描述的整理与分析,从主我(自我控制)、客我、人际关系、动力、抑郁、行为、能力和过程8个方面对西方的自主与中国的自立进行了概念上的对比分析。最后提出:(1)自主和自立都是涉及多种心理成分的综合性人格构念,它们既是静态的人格特征,又是动态的人格过程,但是它们在有关心理因素上的性质与内容并不相同;(2)自立的辩证性特征是导致自主与自立不同的根本原因;(3)在当前进行自立研究很有意义。

The definitions and descriptions referring to Western autonomy and Chinese self-supporting were cleared up and analyzed. Conception comparison was applied from 8 facets which were I, me, interpersonal relationship, dynamic, depression, behavior, ability, and process. At last, those issues were emphasized： （1）Autonomy and self-supporting are both integrated personality construt which involve many mental factors. They are both personality feature and personality process. There are some clear differences between autonomy and self-supporting in the qualities and contents of those mental factors. （2）The key differences between autonomy and self-supporting was the dialectic feature of self supporting.
