摘要
为了解决IP over DWDM(dense wavelengthdivision multiplexing)网络的多业务传送问题,提出了基于带宽资源预留的优先级方法BRPS与基于限定路径的优先级方法RPPS。BRPS通过预留虚链路中部分带宽,为高优先级业务提供服务质量保证;而RPPS通过限定路径,提供区分服务。离散事件仿真结果表明:相对于传统的基于波长资源预留的优先级方法而言,BRPS在低负载时有较低的阻塞率。网络负载强度大于800 Erlang时,RPPS的平均阻塞率比BRPS低。RPPS中各等级业务间阻塞率的差异可以通过改变限定路径的数目动态调节,具有较强的提供区分服务的能力。
A bandwidth reservation-based priority scheme (BRPS) and a restricted path-based priority scheme (RPPS) were developed to support multi-service transmissions in IP over dense wavelength division multiplexing networks. The BRPS provides good quality of service for high priority traffic by reserving part of the bandwidth for virtual links. The RPPS provides service differentiation by offering different numbers of restricted paths for traffic with different priorities. Discrete event simulations show that, compared to the wavelength reservation-based priority scheme, The BPRS has a lower blocking probability for low traffic loads. The RPPS has a lower average blocking probability than the BRPS when the network traffic load is above 800 Erlangs. In addition, the blocking probability of the RPPS can be adjusted dynamically by changing the number of restricted paths. Thus, the RPPS has a very powerful capability to provide service differentiation.
