试论古代小说与当代国学

Ancient Chinese Novel and Contemporary Sinology

作为国学研究对象的一部分,古代小说的概念非常宽泛。历来史志书目的著录取舍不同,在目录学上造成不少难题。而无论古体还是近体小说,其中都有大小不等的文献价值和文学价值,我们不能不予以重视。本文提出:首先,我们需要对古代小说分别轻重优劣,逐步加以评价;其次,要结合中国小说的实际进行小说史的研究;再次,要在目录学上对小说分类进行改革。

The ancient novel which is a part of sinology is a concept of very wide range. There are lots of problems in study of bibliography due to the different standards of historical recorders of book lists. Both ancient and modernstyle novels have their philological and literature value to some extent, which should not be ignored. The author insists that the ancient novels be sorted according to their value and be evaluated step by step; second, the fact investigation should be taken during the research of novel history, and the sorting technique in bibliography should be innovated.
