Management of discipline and specialty:a new field of higher education research

学科与专业是高等教育研究中的两个核心概念,但由于种种原因,学科、专业管理在高等教育研究中一直没有得到应有的重视,甚至成为一个被人遗忘的领域。作为高等教育管理的重要组成部分,学科、专业管理既具有高等教育管理的一般共性,又有其特殊性。就其共性而言,学科、专业管理同样是一定管理主体对于学科、专业发展的一种人为规范。就其特殊性而言,学科、专业管理又是一种特殊的管理,更准确地说是一种治理。具体而言,学科、专业治理就是政府、市场与大学彼此之间进行沟通、协调、博弈、妥协与互动的过程。

Discipline and specialty are two key concepts in higher education research, but because of all kinds of reasons researchers had not paid more attentions for management of discipline and specialty, namely, it is a neglected field. As a important part of management of higher education, management of discipline and specialty always imply to norm of discipline and specialty by government or university. Except for which, management of discipline and specialty still imply to governance of discipline and specialty which emphasize communications, collaborations, negotiations, games, budges and interactions among government, market and university.
