大学生国防教育特指在现代国防安全、国家安全观念的影响下,对在校大学生进行国防意识、国防理论和国防实践的教育。西方国家的大学生国防教育所具有的法律化与制度化、规范化与正规化、社会化与开放性以及军事爱国主义等优势特征对进一步完善我国高校的国防教育具有一定的启示意义。
