The Story of Tang Sanzang Dispelling Adversity and The Story of a Journey to the West are important in the evolution history of A Journey to the West, however, for which there is no independent collation up to now. The Story of Tang Sanzang Dispelling Adversity and The Story of a Journey to the West, collated and punctuated by Mr. Chen Xin, is a valuable philology book for reference. But there are some mistakes in the work. This paper demonstrates and analyses a few typical errors.
