Foreignization in Translation

归化与异化的翻译方式一直就是翻译中争论的焦点,但是随着语言翻译向文化翻译的转向,世界文化交流的发展与文化多样性的发展趋势,异化的翻译方式逐渐成为翻译的主流方式,无论是在英汉还是在汉英翻译中都应该尽可能多的使用异化方法,要以异化为主,以归化为辅,从而在跨文化交际中,保持平等的态度,促进文化的传播与交流,促进世界文化多样性的发展。

Foreignization and Domestication have been the focus of attention in translation. With the development of international cultural exchange and cultural translation, the strategy of foreignization will be preferred in the near future. Foreignization should be used more to keep equality in communication between different cultures and promote cultural exchange and transmission.
