On September 11, 2007, China Securities Regulatory Commission made a proclamation that, after approval by the State Council of China, Gold Futures were approved to be listed in Shanghai Futures Exchange. In the middle of October, Shanghai Futures Exchange opened the trial exchange of Gold Futures.
