Designing Multimedia Networks via High-speed Network Tecnnology

本文介绍了多媒体网络、高速网络以及交换技术，运用交换技术及快速以太网技术设计出适用于不同规模用户的优化的多媒体网络方案，同时也提供了上述网络方案向ＡＴＭ过渡的方法，另外还指出了传统以太网改造升级的基本思路。

This paper introduces multimedia networks, fast Networks , and switch technology. Based on the switch technology and the fast Ethernet, some multimedia networks can be designed to meet the demands of various subscribers. These optimum networks can be transferred to ATM and the traditional Ethernet can be upgraded.
