A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS MICRODALYELLIA (PLATYHELMINTHES,RHABDOCOELA,DALYELLIIDAE) FROM CHINA

摘要 报道中国小达氏涡虫属1新种:湖南小达氏涡虫Microdalyellia hunanensis nov.sp.,模式标本采集于湖南新宁县莨山镇黄背村(26°44′N,110°84′E),对新种涡虫的形态特征作了详细描述,所有标本保存在深圳大学生命科学学院。 A new species,Microdelyellia hunanensis sp. nov., of the genus Microdelyellia (Platyhelminthes, Rhabdocoela, Dalyellidae) has been described in this paper. Microdelyellia hunanensis sp. nov. (Figs. 1-8) Material examined. Holotype 1, HN200403-1, outskirt of Xinning County (26°44′N, 110°84′E), Hunan Province, China, 20 Mar. 2004. Paratypes 20, HN200403-2-11, same data as holotype. All type materials were collected by YI Yan-Qiong and deposited in the Morphological Research Laboratory of Life Science College, Shenzhen University. Discription. Body length from 1100 to 1300 μm; brownish in color. Two testis, oval and integrated, located at both sides of the joint region between pharynx and enteron. Penis, keratose, length 190-220μm. Two proximal stalks length 100μm and 120μm respectively. The transverse bar has three filiations: the median branch, curly-leaf-shaped, length 65μm. The stout spine, fangshaped, length 70μm; the lateral distal branch length 47μm and there are 10 pieces of small spines paratactically situating at its body, of which the proximal small spines has the longest length of 25 μm. and the other have approximate shapes with length 10-12 μm. Two vitellaria cable-shaped. Eggs brownish in color, oval, size 112 μm×85μm. Habitat. This new species was found in a small stream of Xinning County, Hunan Province, altitude 640m, water temperature 10℃, pH7.5. Etymology. Specific name refers to the type locality. Remarks. Microdelyellia hunanensis sp. nov. is similar to Microdelyellia fusca (Luther, A. 1955), but differs from the latter by the penis 100 μm long, rather than 190- 220 μm.
