It was presented that the practical technology of the second development of AutoCAD on design of a steam heated lithium bromide absorption refrigerator with ObjectARX2002 and VC ＋ ＋ 6.0. The modal of technological calculation was introduced, including the subprograms of physical parameter, the choice of parameter, the calculation of heat-transfer area and the confirm of heat-transfer coefficient. The binocular structural of the steam heated lithium bromide absorption refrigerator was explained through a case and the structure drawings of the upper cylinder, the lower cylinder and solution heat exchanger was showed. It was showed that the technology and design method is useful for decreasing the design period and workload of designers.
