New database architecture for location management

摘要 在移动通信的发展中,位置管理是移动通信技术发展中最重要最具挑战性的问题之一。位置管理包含位置更新和呼叫两方面,而这两者在很大程度上就是对位置管理数据库的修改和查询。目前对数据库结构的研究主要集中在增加集中式数据库的分布性和增加分布式数据库的集中性方面。论文充分利用了移动终端的特点,提出了一种新的位置管理数据库结构。从仿真结果来看,对绝大多数用户来说,其位置管理数据库的性能有较大提升。 In the development of the mobile communication,location management is one of the most important and the most challengeable problem.The location management is comprised of mobility registration and call delivery.These two mostly refer to accessing and modification to the database for location management,the research of which,at present,focuses on enhancing the distribution of centralized database architecture or enhancing the centrality of distributed database architecture.According to the characteristic of the mobility of the users,it is designed a new database architecture for location management in this paper,which has better performance for most users.
