In the period of social changes, learning sciences research has become one of the concerns of all coutries. On the base of introducing the beginning and development of learning sciences in China and America, the paper makes some comparison and analysis of the two countries＇ learning sciences research from the aspects of academic community, research content etc. All of these are instructively meaningful for us to understand learning sciences, and further comprehention of different cultural academic communities.
