摘要
长期以来,我国大中专院校的英语教学比较强调对学生语言交际能力的培养,而忽视非语言交际能力的培养。在教学中,英语教师应该运用跨文化非语言交际手段来组织教学,有意识地向学生灌输目的语国家的文化,让他们通过课堂实践习得跨文化非语言交际能力。
For years, foreign language teaching in colleges has put more stress on how to develop students' verbal communication abilities but ignored their non--verbal communication abilities. Successful intercultural communication, however, requires both. Therefore teachers should use non--verbal communication means to organize their teaching and stimulate students to gain cultural knowledge of the target language intentionally so that they can acquire intercultural non--verbal communicative ability in class.
